Gather valuable resources & craft new items. It’s not like they get the “go to bed” warning like I do. To be honest, though, I don’t bother doing that. To actually stop the deliveries, you have to turn off the relevant cargo types at their porter stations. They’re also not the smartest of individuals: zombies engaged in portering from the mine, sawmill or quarry will keep attempting to deliver their load if the destination is full, they just carry the stuff they had back to the start, ad infinitum. I’ve not yet tried this, being content with their performance as-is, but this may yet change. ZOMBIE QUEST IN GRAVEYARD KEEPER UPGRADEYou can also upgrade your new charges’ performance by replacing body parts. ![]() In those cases, you might prefer to stick to manual, at least until you’ve researched all the stuff needing blue points. This is particularly important for things like making flyers, which award the often-hard-to-get blue tech points. It’s also worth bearing in mind that if crafting something would give you tech points when you make it yourself, getting your zombie horde to make it for you won’t net you the points (natch). “Ah, that Joe always was a practical joker.” “The man lived next to me for the last quarter of a century. ![]() “Here, I saw Joe the other day, chopping down trees near the church.” Sure, they’re only moving one or two things at a time, but they’re doing it, not you! They don’t get tired they don’t ask for money – it’s a perfect system! Although… I don’t know if the Bishop or the Inquisitor will have something to say about it… considering that you’re engaging in necromancy… And they just get on and do it, no feeding or energy recharging required. You can also build porter stations, which accept one zombie each, and select what items you want them to transport. Some of the new zombie tech added into the game. ZOMBIE QUEST IN GRAVEYARD KEEPER PLUSOne fresh corpse (at least, no green bits in the skulls section of the autopsy chart) on the table, plus zombie juice, plus 10 faith, and you’ve got yourself a zombie, ready to do your bidding, within certain limits. They added the ability to make zombies, and to set them to work.Īdded to your toolset – after a short mini-quest – is a Resurrection Table, along with some zombie-related technologies to be researched, and an additional recipe: zombie juice. And I love it so much that I hereby recant my previous verdict, willingly and wholeheartedly, and recommend Graveyard Keeper to you… But what they did add is, in my oh-so-humble opinion, way cooler, and fits the overall theme wonderfully. Well… they didn’t include a cart in the recent “Breaking Dead” update. I didn’t uninstall it, however, as I was still hopeful that the devs at Lazy Bear Games might still be persuaded to include a cart of some sort. What I didn’t note – because I didn’t make the decision until after the review was posted – was that I decided to stop playing the game, as a consequence of this tedium. In particular, it bugged me that there was no way to transport multiple heavy objects (stone, logs, etc). When I originally wrote my review of Graveyard Keeper, I lamented the fact that some aspects of the game were very tedious, and said that I couldn’t recommend it in good conscience. ![]()
